Speaker Accepts Dominic Greive Amendment Vote

Speaker John Bercow has accepted a vote on an amendment by Dominic Greive which if passed will force the government to come back to the house with an alternative plan if her deal is defeated within 3 days instead of the current 21 days.

So the government gets defeated again and the Greive Amendment is passed. This means that if May's deal is defeated she has to come up with an alternative within three sitting days, which will be the following Monday. Just like the Cooper Amendment, this may actually help May get her deal passed.

Something had to be done to make it more difficult for hardliners like Rees Mogg to steer us towards that cliff edge.

Something has to be done about these self righteous individuals like bercow, who is meant to be impartial, from driving our country into a sea of syrupy porridge.
